COVID-19 Policies

All clinical faculty, staff, and students who provide patient-facing care must be vaccinated against COVID-19.
Tufts strongly encourages all community members to stay up-to-date on vaccination boosters.
Masks must be worn in health care settings, including designated spaces at the School of Dental Medicine.

Updated Isolation and Exposure Guidance:

Tufts University continues to follow U.S. CDC and MA DPH guidelines on COVID-19. Please be sure you are up to date on the latest guidance on Tufts' policies and guidance (updated March 2024).

COVID-19 Public Health Emergency Ends on May 11:

Tufts continues to require masking in health care settings and vaccinations for all patient-facing students, faculty, and staff. Review current COVID-19 guidance

Symptomatic COVID-19 Testing:

Students can contact the health center on their campus to schedule an appointment for evaluation and testing. Staff and faculty can get symptomatic testing on all campuses through Occupational Health Services (OHS).
